Hope Ross Gibaldi -
Executive Director, VVM & Program Director, CSVP
Hope Ross Gibaldi is the Program Director of the CSVP and the Executive Director at Valley Venture Mentors (VVM). She is the co-founder and CEO of LEARN IN MOTION, a youth recreational program that offers movement-, sports- and play-based enrichment programs for preschoolers and elementary school students. The company takes a unique approach to education, social-emotional development and behavioral management. She is an alumna of the Holyoke-based SPARK Accelerator Program, and facilitated three cohorts before the program transitioned to the EforAll network. She remains involved in the program as a mentor and ecosystem and advisory board member. She is passionate about the transformative impact that entrepreneurship and education can have for individuals and communities. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and anthropology from Drew University.
Gregory S Thomas - Executive Director, Umass’s Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship
Gregory Thomas is the executive director of UMass’ Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship and a lecturer in Isenberg School’s management department. He works with constituents on campus and throughout the Commonwealth to develop and execute partnerships while also teaching courses in entrepreneurship and innovation. A 1991 UMass graduate, Thomas held senior level global roles in his 20+ years with Corning Incorporated. In his last five years at Corning, he was a strategist in the Innovation Group. He is also the immediate past president of the UMass Amherst Alumni Association Board.
Hanna Ngo - Student Assistant
Hanna Ngo is a Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship student assistant and is currently working to support CSVP this summer. She recently graduated from UMass this spring and currently holds two bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics.
